Academy Philosophy
 
At the Peoria Ballet Academy, we believe that it takes dedication, imagination, and hard work to become the dancers of tomorrow. Our goal is to instill in our students a sense of respect, not only for themselves but for this incredible art of ballet. Through carefully guided training, humor, and a hands-on commitment to excellence, our instructors will endeavor to unlock the skill, joy and dance potential within every dancer. We are privileged to welcome you into this enchanting world of physical movement and sincerely hope you and your child’s dreams of dance become a reality.

This year we will institute a pre-professional training program for those dancers who wish to pursue ballet as a career. At the same time, beginning with Ballet 1, our Academy program continues to offer the best ballet education in Peoria in which the number of classes per week increases with the corresponding level. For example, an Academy student in Ballet 2 will be required to take two ballet classes per week, Ballet 3, three classes per week, etc. Our open program is, as usual, ongoing.
