From Ballet to Broadway

Most classes will be included in the performance (not including the adult classes). If you or your child does not wish to be a part of the showcase recital, please inform your teacher as soon as you can.

Each student will receive a costume for each number in which they will be performing. We do require that every student pay a twenty-five dollar ($25) costume fee for each number they are performing in.

Showcase Cover Art Contest

This year Peoria Ballet would like to extend an invitation to the children to create a piece of art that can be used to the cover of the showcase recital’s program.

We will be accepting entries from every age up through May 3, 2007. The winning artists work will grace the cover of the program and he/she will receive a prize, which will be announced at a later date.


Important Information

Tickets will be sold beginning April 31, 2007 at the studios. Seating is reserved. Tickets will be $8 for adults and $6 for children. All tickets purchased at the door will be $10 for everyone.

If your child would like to watch the showcase when not performing, they need a ticket.

Costumes can be picked up during your class during the week of May 14 or anytime after that week between 4pm and 7pm. Girls will wear their class leotard with their costume and boys will wear their black shorts with their costume.

Please check the spelling and placement of your child's name for the program on the sheets at the studios.

Each class needs two parent volunteers to chaperone the children in the waiting room. Please sign up if you would like to help.

Ching Zedric will be taking individual photos in the cafeteria during the dress rehearsal.

There will be a professional videographer taping on Thursday evening. We ask that no other videotaping occur that evening. We are, however, allowing videotaping during dress rehearsal.
